The Watertown Youth Coalition is a community coalition committed to fostering healthy and positive lifestyles among the youth of Watertown, MA. We are an organization made up of youth, parents, educators, police officers, medical and mental health professionals, and local business owners/managers.
 
Our mission: To enhance the abilities of children, parents and the community to increase healthy decision-making and decrease unhealthy risky behaviors. We promote programs that support, challenge, and expect the highest from our youth.

The Watertown Youth Coalition is pleased to release the results from the 2011 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) in its "Report on the Well-Being of Watertown Youth: Results of the 2011 Watertown Youth Risk Behavior Survey & Youth Needs Assessment". To view the report, please click here.

Formerly known as diversity week, SPEAK week (March 26th-30th) will give the WHS community the opportunity to SPEAK (Share Personal Experiences and Knowledge), with the overall goal of creating an increasingly welcoming school climate. Activities and Speakers are brought to you by the Watertown Youth Coalition Peer Leaders (a program run through the Wayside Multi-Service Center), in collaboration with the WHS Gay-Straight Alliance, the International Club, and the Armenian Club. SPEAK Week is sponsored by the MA DPH Youth at Risk Grant and the US DOE Grant to Reduce Alcohol Abuse.
